Oncli.com is a new website that offers cancer patients and their loved ones access to board-certified doctors specializing in the treatment of cancer. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the first-of-its-kind website offers direct access to board-certified physicians dedicated to helping cancer patients learn more about their specific type of cancer and their treatment options.
``A cancer diagnosis can be devastating,'' said Dr. Douglas R. Jones, founder and chief medical officer of Oncli.com. ``Most patients need time to process what they have just heard before they can formulate questions. As a result, many find themselves at home with questions their family and friends are not qualified to answer.''
Visitors to Oncli.com can get information about cancer, read about new treatments and research, or access the site's comprehensive glossary of medical terms. To ask a question of a board certified physician, guests select a one-month, three-month, or one-year plan and subscribe at a nominal cost. There is no limit to the number of questions that can be asked during a subscription period. The Oncli.com physicians answer all questions within 96 hours. All communications are private and legally protected by doctor/patient confidentiality.
